Lindsey Peterson is a new author making her debut with "Pitch Black's Risk", a Ted Lasso x Bananaball-inspired romcom that answers the question: If Roy Kent was an entertainment league baseball coach, would he dance? (spoiler alert: the answer is f**k no!)

Ever since she wrote a story called "Attack of the Tiki Men" in third grade, Lindsey knew she wanted to be a writer. Maybe not a professional one, but that dream wasn't totally out of the question. Nah, just writing for fun seemed cool...at least until she started editing books professionally and realized, "huh, I can totally do this. Why not me?" So, she got started.

After a few started but never finished novels, a handful of short stories, and an epic fantasy written with a co-author, Lindsey finally decided to write the romcom that had been dancing around in her head for months. You see, being a massive fan of Ted Lasso (seriously, like, bar trivia-level fan) meant she was depressed as heck when the show ended (the first time - yay it's back!). All she wanted was more.

And so, Lindsey took Ted's empathetic approach to coaching and paired it with Bananaball's fans-first mentality to create a whole new league of her own (see what I did there?). The Peaches were born, and so was their Roy Kent-inspired coach who refused to dance for the cameras.

One of the biggest themes she wanted to bring through in this series is that, life can be dramatic sometimes, but it's easy to show up for others and let them show up for you when you let your heart lead the way. And that's exactly what both Wendy and Orion do in this first installment.
